CÓMO SE HACE MI ARTE EN VIDRIO FUNDIDO

En primer lugar, selecciono meticulosamente las piezas de vidrio y las dispongo en intrincados diseños sobre un estante del horno. A continuación, el horno se calienta a temperaturas que oscilan entre los 1328 y los 1526 grados Fahrenheit (720 y 830 grados Celsius), lo que provoca la fusión del vidrio. Tras un proceso de enfriamiento cuidadosamente controlado, que suele durar varias horas, se da forma al vidrio fundido, se pule y se ensambla en impresionantes luminarias, cada una de las cuales es una mezcla única de arte y artesanía.

El vidrio se colorea durante su producción; sus colores son duraderos y no se alteran con el lavado. Como con todos los vasos artísticos, recomendamos lavarlos a mano. No deben lavarse en lavavajillas ni someterse a cambios bruscos de temperatura.
