Jeny Guneva
Glass Artist
I am an artist and designer working with glass. I create unique glass works for interiors – objects that simultaneously carry light, form, and emotion.
My professional path began with an engineering education – a world of precision and logic.
It was there that my sense of form, balance, and technical accuracy was built.
Later, glass initially appeared as a personal refuge from the intense rhythm of business, but very quickly, my true creative essence manifested itself.
Working with glass captivated me with its paradoxical nature – both fragile and strong, transparent and deep, controllable and completely unpredictable.
I equipped my own studio and made the conscious choice to leave my engineering career to devote myself entirely to artistic work.
Later, I defended my master’s degree at the National Academy of Arts, where I deepened my author’s approach and conceptual thinking.
Today, I create single works and small author’s series, including glass panels, sculptures, decorative and multifunctional vessels, vases, candlesticks, and jewelry.
Each work is the result of a long process of experimentation, handcrafting, and attention to detail. I do not mass produce – each piece has its own character and presence.
My art is aimed at people who are looking for not just an object, but a feeling – an object with history, energy, and a connection to the space. I believe that glass has the ability to change the atmosphere, to capture light,t and create a quiet but strong visual accent.
I work with individual clients, interior designers, and galleries, and also accept orders for a specific concept.

JG Glass Art
JG Glass Art is a brand of contemporary art glass. Under this name, together with my team, we create unique glass works and limited editions, in which light, form, and matter exist in a silent dialogue.
Each work is handmade and unique – created without mass production, with attention to detail and its presence in space.
JG Glass Art is for collectors and connoisseurs who are looking for not just an object, but an experience.
Education
Glass artist Jeny Guneva was drawn to glass when looking for ways to diversify her unique jewelry, she stumbled upon the technique of fusing.
Initially, Glass artist Jeny Guneva experimented with glass as a hobby but gradually turned her hobby into innovative art.
Glass artist Jeny Guneva says about her encounter with art glass, ‘I found something different that I might have been looking for, but that I didn’t even dare to dream of. Finally, I feel like I have found myself. Her pursuit of perfect forms, because of her engineering background and creative nature, leads her to try different techniques and treatments of glass.
She has a Master’s degree from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Surveying, which has given her a wealth of knowledge in the interior and exterior design of industrial, residential, and single-family buildings.
To expand her knowledge and skills, glass artist Jeny Guneva also completed a Master’s degree at the National Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Porcelain and Glass Design.
What glass artist Jeny Guneva says is, “Creating art is my passion. The most important thing is that a design object grabs your attention, moves you, and brings aesthetic pleasure.
That’s why I try to bring joy to people and energize them with my work. I hope to succeed in this endeavor.
Ideas and inspiration
My ideas are born in observation – of light, of space, and of changes that occur almost imperceptibly.
Glass allows me to work with precisely these transitions: between density and transparency, movement and stillness.
In the process of working, I leave room for the material to speak. Fire, time, and gravity are an active part of each work and often lead the form beyond the initial intention.
This incomplete predictability is the essence of my approach.
I am inspired by architectural forms and natural structures. I am interested in how the object fits into the space and how it changes it – not by dominating, but by being present.
Each work is an invitation to slow down. For a look that stays a little longer.
Studio
The JG Glass Art studio is located in Elin Pelin and is equipped with professional equipment and kilns for working with art glass.
All of the brand’s unique pieces are created here – handmade works in which material, fire, and time shape a unique character.
Each work is the result of an individual process and attention to detail.
